Clara Williams is a young female athlete contesting in the BHP Billiton Marathon on August 28, 2011.
Clara Williams was born unto the union of Mr. and Mrs. Williams. Her father hails from Maryland County while her mother comes from Nimba County.
Both of her parents are Christians attending the Winner’s Chapel International Church in Congo Town, Monrovia.
Clara is also an active member of the Winner's Chapel Church and a member of the Protocol Unit.
She was born in 1991 on the 27th of November at the Clara Town Hospital.
Clara began her primary education at the Ash Thompson Memorial Academy in 1993. In 2005, she enrolled at the Pentecostal Global Mission High School on 10th Street in Sinkor. In 2008, she transferred to the African Methodist Episcopal Zion High School and graduated in 2010.
Clara’s dream is to become a lawyer. However, she wishes to study Mass Communication as her first degree before entering into the law school.
Clara has a lot of experiences in Track and Field. One of her greatest moments was when she won the long jump competition. She is also very excited to be a part of the first ever marathon in the history of Liberia.
Clara wishes to dedicate this marathon to Mr. Chris Anderson because of the level of encouragement and support that he provides young athletes in Liberia.
