Chamisa is a member of the House of Assembly of Zimbabwe and spokesperson for the opposition party, Movement for Democratic Change (MDC). Chamisa is also know as the former national youth chairperson for MDC.
During the election process Chamisa has been violently attacked along with other members of the MDC by President Mugabe's men. He was attacked on his way to Brussels on Sunday March 18, 2008.
