Boakai has a BBA in Management ( Magna Cum Luade) from the United Methodist University in Liberia. Prior to his graduation, he was an active student leader serving as Chairman of a ruling campus based political party.
In addition to serving as Media Coordinator for allAfrica Global Media - Liberia, he also voluntarily presents a radio program for young people on the UN Radio in Liberia., where he talks to ministers, civil society leaders, youth leaders etc on issues affecting young people.
