On October 30, 1969, Pete O'Neal, a young Black Panther, was arrested for transporting a gun across state lines. O'Neal fled the country, and has lived in Tanzania for over 30 years. He is one of the last American exiles from an era when activists considered themselves at war with the U.S. government.

I saw this movie and it gave me fond memories of my youth.Back in the day when a brother would stand tall and say it loud. The days when people would hang out in the park to get the latest information about up and coming community events, just hanging listening to music seeing friends, playing cards and so much more. This is not in the movie but in the film he refers to those days and I can relate. I saw so many brothers rail-roaded into prisons.
