The National Museum of Rwanda provides an excellent collection of artifacts, information and history of the country. Situated in Butare, about two hours south of Kigali, the museum is well worth the trip for those with a few hours to spare. It includes exhibits on agriculture, housing, archeology, geography, politics and more.
