This is a beautiful natural estuary, perfect for bird-watching and boating.  Lazy water sports, such as fishing, are also popular in the delta.  There are ancient shell mounds.  Great mangrove areas and unexplored islands.  Get a tour guide to ensure safety while venturing.

This area is also historically significant because it was one of the original areas of the Wolof people.
