Sousse is an extremely popular tourist destination.  It is a beautiful, white city with great public beaches where locals and outsiders alike swim from July-August.  Visit the Great Mosque and medina monuments at Place Farhat Hached.  The Musee de Source has an impressive collection of Roman mosaics at a cheaper price than the esteemed Bardo.
