This is a very eclectic, artsy place to go to meet many locals and eccentric tourists. There is a combination art and theatre gallery. Ask around to get a program of upcoming events and performances.
Even if you are not particularly inclined in the arts, all are welcome to lounge and mingle at the facilities on the weekends and and on evenings. Most of the artists are surprisingly friendly and open to sharing their work (especially the in-progress pieces). This is a great place to buy more expensive and thoughtful gifts.
