Njovu played for Lusaka Dynamos in Zambia from 2007 to 2009, before signing a five year contract with the Israeli team effective since July 2009. He scored against Spain in the 2007 FIFA Youth World Cup where Zambia received a bye to the zambianfootball.net.
He has scored one goal for his national team and seven goals for his current club team.
William Njovu currently plays for Hapoel Iroeni Kiryat Shmona in Israeli Premier League.
He is always selected to form part of the 26 men squad for Gabon/Equatorial Guinea 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.
