Wilson Williams is a Liberian born in Monrovia, Montserrado County. He was born unto the union of Mr. and Mrs. Sampson G.Z Williams. His family comes from Gbabloh Town in Grand Gedeh County. He is a Christian by religion and Catholic by faith.
Wilson is a graduate of the African Methodist Episcopal Academy on Benson Street in Monrovia and is currently a student at the African Methodist Episcopal University. He studies Economics and Accounting.
Wilson is dedicating the marathon to the country and people of Liberia. He is encouraging every Liberian to see the need to promote marathon in their country as a medium of pushing “Mama Liberia” forward.

I highly appreciate the Mayor's BHP Billiton-Liberia Marathon scheduled for August, 2011.I will like to know what is the total mils coverage for this Marathon? However, considering the distance for the first time, I will recommend that the distance be reviewed and consideration be given for adjustment.

I was wandering, if the reporter was adding his or her own words, to the news about, marathon race in Monrovia.Metropolitan Monrovia , is not so small a city. From SKD Sport Complex in Paynesville City, to Freeport is about 15 miles. From freeport to the intersection of Broad and Johnson street, is another five miles. So, how much more miles will they be running? A marathon race at international standards, is not more then 26 miles, I thing.And, Liberians, are not long distance runners.
