Biographical Information

Salihu Lukman, an economist and politician, is also a public commentator on public policy and economic development.

Lukman was President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) from 1988-89.

In 1991, Lukman was appointed National Secretary of the Commission for the Defense of Human Rights (CDHR).In 2002, he served as the Education Secretary of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC).

Additionally, Lukman was  a founding member and Deputy General Secretary of the Campaign for Democracy (1991).

As CEO of Good Governance Group (3G), Lukman promotes efficient and responsive leadership in Nigeria.

Since 2006 Lukman has also served as a community organizer in Kaduna State, his home state in Nigeria.
