Career

He joined Free State Stars in the 2008 off season and was signed from top Ghanaian side Ashanti Gold SC. In July 2009 a possible move of the player to Greek giants Panathinaikos was speculated, but the player ultimately decided to stay at his South African club. In January was linked with an move to Udinese Calcio and an eventually loan play with Granada CF in Spain, but the trasfers was executed.

International career

Mensah joined his fellow teammates for the under 20 youth championship in Kigali and helped Ghana claim the prestigius cup, he is currently briefing for the Youth African Cup of Nations.
