(At a Glance)
Date of Birth: Dec/30/1981

Aristide Benoît Zogbo is an Ivorian football goalkeeper.

He was signed on 1 July 2007 by Ittihad El-Shorta in Egypt, he was transferred from Issia Wazi.

Zogbo played for Ittihad El-Shorta until the 3 September of 2009, then he signed a one year contract with Israeli club Maccabi Netanya.

This back-up keeper made his debut for the Elephants back in 2008 and unless new coach Sven Goran Eriksson opts for a change, Zogbo will travel to South Africa this summer covering Ivory Coast first choice stopper Boubacar Barry.

Plying his trade in the Israeli league, Zogbo has also played for the Issia Wazi club in his home country, as well as having a stint in Egyptian football and he seems content with his place in this squad. He is known for his spectacular saves and he is also a decent penalty stopper.

"Boubacar and I have to work together, even though we are both working towards winning one place in the team," he says. "If I go to the World Cup and feel sad that I do not start the first game, I'd be letting my team down. In a competition like this, you have to be ready to perform at one moment's notice."
