Etuhu is a defensive midfielder for the Nigerian football team. He plays club football in England with Fulham FC.
Etuhu has spent his entire football career in England.
His first club was the Manchester-based Division One side Preston North, from where, after a successful 2004-2005 season, he moved to Norwich City. It is Norwich that Etuhu established his form and scored important goals for the team, particularly in victories against Torquay United and Southend United in 2006-07 season that garnered the attention of Premier League clubs.
His first Premier league side was newly-promoted Sunderland in 2007, from where he moved on to Fulham, where he currently plays.
His first game for Nigeria was a friendly match against Mexico on October 14, 2007, before the 2008 African Cup Of Nations. He has made five appearances for the national team.
