Moses Kipsiro was born and raised on a farm in Chesimat, Uganda says even as a young boy he always had a passion for running. In 2007 he broke a Ugandan national record in the men's 5000m event at the Brussels Grand Prix with a time of 12 minutes 50.72 seconds. The time was also the fourth fastest time in the event in the world. In the Beijing Summer games Kipsiro is among the contenders for a medal in the 5000m.
