ABANTU for Development is an international NGO established in 1991 with offices in the UK, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria. ABANTU means people in different languages from 19 African countries and symbolizes the organization's people-centered philosophy. It aims to promote participatory sustainable development in Africa by providing training, information and advice on mobilizing resources. Gender concerns are integrated into all of its programs.
