The Human Rights Law Service (HURILAWS) is a specialist provider of human rights and public interest law services in Nigeria. An independent, non-profit service, HURILAWS advances human rights in Nigeria through strategic impact (test case), litigation, legislative advocacy, legal aid/assistance and publications. HURILAWS activities include litigation in the national courts, the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights, the United Nations International human rights treaty-based mechanisms and legislative advocacy.
