Eedris Abdulkareem
Eedris Abdulkareem hit the Nigerian rap scene in 1996 as part of the group the Remedies. His solo career kicked off in 2002. He has also often been at the center of controversy stemming from his open criticism of the government and his battles with other artists. Abdulkareem is also the founder of the Eedris Abdulkareem Foundation, a fundraising organization dedicated to fighting the spread of HIV and AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.
