Gregoire Nakobomayo has decided to kill his girlfriend, Germaine. Though he's taken great care in planning the crime, the act of murder requires some psychological preparation. So Gregoire calls upon Angoualima, his mentor from the dead and a much more accomplished serial killer than Gregoire ever will be. Conversations between the ghost murderer and the petty criminal interweave the lives and thoughts of the two.
