The Du Bois Center holds the grave of the famous African-American scholar and an impressive research library, complete with some of his original manuscripts.
The center chronicles the life of the figure who fought for emancipation of the black man through Pan Africanism and traced his roots to Africa.
The surrounding area is very beautiful and the atmosphere is laid-back. A nice place to retreat when you are looking for peace and quiet.
