Many people choose to camp out when traveling through Ethiopia, also known as "trekking."  If you really want to splurge one night, get a $45 room at Goha Hotel.  It's has some of the best rooms in the area and has rooms with great views.  Ask the owner if you can see some of the available rooms to pick your favorite. 

 If you do choose to sleep outside, a camp site for a night is under $10.
