Joseph Musonda was born on May 30, 1977 in Kalulushi in Zambia.He is a Zambian football defender.

Joseph played for the Kalulushi Modern Star FC in 1995, then the Nkana FC from 1995 to 2005.He also played for ZESCO United FC from 2004 to 2005.

He then moved briefly to South Africa and played for Free State Stars between 2005 and 2006.

Joseph moved back Zambia and played for ZESCO United FC again in 2006 and for Zanaco FC in 2007.

He is now playing for the South African team called Golden Arrows FC. He has appeared in seventy three international games and has scored six goals in different national games.
