Biographical Information

Rosann Wisman is the Director of Ministerial Leadership Initiative for Global Health (MLI) at the Aspen Institute in Washington,DC.

Wisman holds an M.S. in Public Health from the University of Missouri School of Medicine.

Wisman has 30 years of executive leadershio in non-profit organazations. Her interests include public policy and health care access with an emphasis on women's health and rights.

Prior to her work at MLI, Wisman served as Executive Director at Accordia Global Health Foundation. She was also the Senior Vice President for the Centre for Development and Population Activities developing programs to improve the lives of women and girls. From 1998 to 2000, Wisman served as the Senior Advocacy Advisor for the Population Action International in Tokoyo.

Wisman also served as the President and CEO of Planned Parenthood affiliations for more than 20 years.
