Biographical Information

Randall Kempner serves as the Executive Director at the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE). This branch of the Aspen Institute, a Washington, D.C. based think tank, promotes capital and technical/business assistance for entrepreneurs in developing countries.

Kempner holds an M.B.A. and M.P.Aff from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard College.

Kempner has more than 15 years experience in national and international business/economic development. Prior to working at ANDE, Kempner served as Vice President for Regional Innovation at the Council on Competitiveness. He also worked at several consulting firms including the OTF Group and Monitor Group. At OTF, he served as the Vice President and co-founder of the firm.
