Chosen as a back-up goalkeeper for the 2010 African Nations Cup finals after breaking through in Ligue 1 with Valenciennes, where he is on loan from Nantes, where his career started his career.
Made his Ligue 1 debut against Paris St Germain in August and gone on to become a regular this season. He was born in Yaounde but brought up in France.
