Olofinjana is a midfielder with the Nigerian national team. He plays club football in England with Hull City.

Olofinjana started playing top-flight football with FC Crown Ogbomoso and later Kwara United while a student of chemical engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.

He then moved to Norweigan side Brann for the 2002-2003 season, then on to Division 1 Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he scored 16 golas in 35 appearances, making him the team's top scorer for the 2004-2005 season.

His back injury the following season led to a mixed performance, but he regained form and moved to Stoke City. In 2008-2009 season, he moved to Hull City.

His first appearance for Nigeria was on 6 June, 2000, during a friendly match against Malawi. He has appeared for the Super Eagles 51 times as of 2010.
