N. Frank Ukadike earned a Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from New York University in 1989. Today he is Associate Professor of Film and African Diaspora Studies at Tulane University in New Orleans. He is the author of Black African Cinema and Questioning African Cinema: Conversations With Filmmakers.
