For the women's 800m event Mutola won bronze at the Atlanta games in 1996 and gold at the Sydney games in 2000. She hopes to contend for a medal in Beijing. Mutola has been regarded as the best 800m female runner of all time. While never breaking a world record she is a consistant runner with good times.
