There are 3 community pre schools in the villages of Kaumba and Mujika, set up in 2007, as I lived and worked there.
The purpose is to introduce young children to education, and further create basic income generating activities through communal vegetable gardens. As the preschools grow, the intention is to encourage village business to be made so people don't feel pressured to migrate into towns in search for opportunities, being held back by the lack of skills.
There is great potential in rural settings in Zambia, where people are more likely to sustain their livelihoods!
