Mission Statement
Bosaso College more Information Bosaso College of Training and Computer (BCTC) was officially launched in 2006 in Bosaso-Puntland by a group of Somali intellectuals and educationists as a part of effort to respond to the immense demands of employers, both public and private in Puntland, for job ready manpower as well as professional oriented education. The college is registered and certified as Tertiary Education Institution by the Puntland Ministry of Education. The College has been so far successful to train a significant number of students who have been employed by both the public and private sector in Puntland. The College has profound commitment to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and plans to gradually expand its use in accessing global knowledge and learning. The programs offered by the college have attracted a significant number of students and the driving force behind this expected dramatic increase in enrollment can be explained due to the fact that the skilled and competent paraprofessionals are needed now more than ever in Puntland, and therefore, the kind of education offered by the college is being well received by the community. Another factor is the considerable number of High School leavers in Puntland that requires skill oriented training for paying jobs. Bosaso College is a higher education institution that was established in 2006. The college is part of Muslim Aid-UK educational programs. Its is a fast growing College that offers quality education leading to certificate and diploma qualifications. The certificates are internationally recognized and awarded by the College. BC highlights personalized education, and uncommon training opportunities in Somalia , with tangible achievement hitherto despite being a small and relatively newly established institution. The teaching staffs of the college currently include 15 lecturers and tutors some of whom are experienced professionals with higher degrees from Somali Diaspora, Kenya and India . Besides academic and professional training, the college provides its students with human and moral training that are incorporated in its curriculum.
