Pele called football the beautiful game and as this World Cup (the first on African soil) has no official song, a talented singer songwriter – Billy Franks – decided he could make a difference as well as a record. He has written a song called The Beautiful Game and recorded it with a full band and an African gospel choir. Believe me it is fantastic.
All the money from sales will go to the charity, Sentebale, www.sentebale.org which was founded by Prince Seeiso from the Lesotho Royal family and Prince Harry from the British Royal family in response to the plight of the neediest of Lesotho's people - its orphans and vulnerable children.
If enough people buy this record then this charity will get the attention it deserves. It has been announced that Prince Harry is visiting Lesotho in the coming days so now is the time to buy the record or download. To see Prince Harry introduce the song and hear the song please visit Facebook

The best England World Cup song for South Africa 2010 is definitely `Green Fields of England` by George and the Dragons. Hear it at www.green-fields-of-england.com
Never underestimate the love of an Englishman for England!
