Ethiopiques is a series of CDs featuring Ethiopian and Eritrean musicians that dates back to 1997 with the total now numbering more than 20. While many first CDs consisted of songs from the 1960s and 1970s, CDs now also focus on traditional Ethiopian music or highlight individual musicians or specific styles.
