Ukoo Flani Mau Mau (Hip Hop)
This group is a collection of about 24 rappers from Nairobi and Mombasa with a few Tanzanians. Ukoo Flani Mau Mau released the album Kilio Cha Haki album in 2004 and followed it up with Dandora Burning released in 2006. Dandora refers to the a neighborhood in Nairobi, known for its high crime rate and as the location of Nairobi's main dumping site.
