One of the best hotels in Stone Town, the Dhow Palace was originially an Omani mansion dating back to the 1870s. The hallways are Arabian, decorated with Zazibari antiques. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, and the staff are very helpful. A central courtyard with makuti-thatched chairs offer a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets outside. One of the best values in Stone Town.
