Rasheed Adewale Shitta-Bey is an elder statesman, one time member of the House of Representatives during the second republic, Alhaji Rasheed Adewale Shitta-Bey, was the former national chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD). Shitta-Bey, led the defunct Mega Summit Movement (MSM), an alliance meant to oust the ruling PDP in 2011 elections. Some members of the  Mega Summit Movement includes: Former Head of State, Gen. Mohammadu Buhari, and former Secretary to the Federal Government, Chief Olu Falae, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Senator Ben Obi, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and Adamu. Alhaji Shitta-Bey also led the newly founded alliance of opposition parties under the auspices of the Patriotic Electoral Alliance of Nigeria (PEAN) - Enough is Enough
