This is the best Saharan oasis town in Algeria and a must-see. There are hundreds of thousands of palm trees in this little haven, and great accomodation. Neighboring Tasfoud village has an ancient castle and intricate, old irrigation systems--visitors should get a great tour guide to show them the best spots.

This area is very serene, peaceful, and quiet. Coming here will mark a peaceful point of anyone's journey in Algeria.
